At age 51 and near-sighted since childhood, I switched from monos to multi-focals about 2 years ago. There was some sacrifice of distance clarity as opposed to the monos, but for me, the benefit of eliminating the need for reading glasses far exceeded that minute loss. Sure, I still need the readers for really tiny print, but for computer screens...
My doctors recommend me a bifocal Acuvue lenses. I tried it for one month and was a wonderful idea!!! I wear every day and I love it. Thank you Acuvue!!!!!
I have never worn contacts before this year and I do love these Proclear Multifocal contacts specially for comfort and clarity.
I have worn these lenses for 2 years now and finally found a doctor who would work with me using trial lenses. I can read computer screens, books and magazines for the first time in years and my distance is at 25/25. Easy care, I leave them in for 30 days and dispose of them.
